Name is a work in progress

Strengthen Enchantment (Metamagic)
Prerequisites: Spell Focus (Enchantment)
Benefit: A spell with the Strengthen Enchantment feat applied to it loses the [mind-affecting] descriptor. The spell is able to affect any creature with an Intelligence score who is not immune to one of its other descriptors or subschools (such as the (Charm) subschool).

The Strengthen Enchantment feat may only be applied to spells from the Enchantment school.

A Strengthened Enchantment uses a spell slot two levels higher than the unmodified spell's slot.

Add spell focus(enhantment) to the prerequists. Overall, pretty much everone who wants to use enhchantment will use this feat, which may or may not be a bad thing in your opinion.

Yes, but it is an effective & useful feat tax (the only good kind) for casters (who are the only ones who deserve it). The only problem that I see is that it will affect Bards & Beguilers more than the Tier 1-or-2 casters, but that is unavoidable, really. Overall, good idea, & a good approach to the Enchantment problem.

Done, and enchantment spells are all really cool, they shouldn't be so hard to use at higher levels. A straight beguiler is only slightly more useful than a rogue against the same enemies, and since there exist fixes for Sneak Attack, I thought there should be an option for enchantment as well.

Think of it as the Piercing Cold of dominate person. :vaarsuvius:
