So, Im running a PF sorcerer soon, from first level. Im using the words of power variant, found here (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/words-of-power). I'm also using the witch word list, because we need someone to heal and junk, and I don't want to optimize much, new players in the group, you know?

My theme is a hyperactive young human, who always has something to say. Kinda like spider-man or the flash or what have you. Also, if you find it relevant, his name is arc and he has a deathly fear of metal, because he looses control of his electric magic if he touches it, and it burns him out. Pure fluff! Also, Djanni bloodline.

So, Im looking for electric themed things to say! Im sure someone has something, so please, give me a hand!

If an enemy was in some kind of military, he's been discharged.

When asking for confirmation, always ask "are you positive?"

Take ranks in Profession(Maestro). You're a great conductor.

Ask enemies if they've had a bad day, then ask whether their mood "needs some lightening".

That's all I can think of for now.

My Own:

Need a light?
I've got more amps than a rock concert.
How about a shocking experience?
Electronic Supersonic!
I'll take you down to electric avenue.

And of course, "UNLIMITED POWER!"

Also, if it helps, here's the quotes for the Tesla Trooper from RA2:

Ready

"Trooper fully charged."
"I'm wired."
"Who needs a jump?"
"Tesla suit ready."
"Charging Up."
"Fully Shielded."
"Free Hookups."

Moving

"In motion."
"Yes, commerade."

Attacking

"Insulation won't help."
"He's fried."
"Here's your electric bill."

Under Attack

"I need shock therapy."

Garrisoning a building

"Could use some recharge time."
"Is it well insulated?"
"Looks well grounded."

Illuminating darkness
"Let there be light"

when fighting against militia/soldiers/order keepers of any sort
"We're forming a resistance!"

when shocked (lol) by something (news, revelation, etc.)
"Ohm my god!"

when excited
"I'm so amped up!"

his favourite philosopher?
"Voltaire."

how fast does he move?
"Like greased lightning!"

when on trial for some of the people he kills
"It was legally sanctioned, it was justifriable homicide"

when fightan

"let's see if lightning can strike twice!"

more later when I think of them

"Charge!"
"Hurry, we're down to the wire!"
"The enemy is showing considerable resistance."
"Whoa whoa, let's try to stay grounded on this one."
"What's our current situation?"
"Quicken grease, lightning bolt"
"How revolting!"
"Sorry about the frequency of my puns. I know it hertz."

Can you simulate the spell Grease with word magic?
"Go Grease Lightning!"

Take Leadership feat. Have a cohort and followers. Call your group The Electric Company.

Cast a continual light effect on plant bulbs. As a quirk, lift one above your head when your character thinks of a cool idea.

Have a favorite chair.

Have a lightning scar on your forehead.

Volt for me!

I love current affairs.

I hope you conduct yourself well.

Don't put up much resistance.

I've had ample time to prepare.

This'll be an enlightning experience

I beg you to reconsider watt you are doing. Sure, electricity puns can be funny and you may even think that they will amplify your popularity, but many people consider them shocking and it won't take long for them to form a resistance against you to jolt you out of your behavior. In conclusion: Don't be a dolt, don't volt.

(In case it is not obvious, all of the above is a joke.)

Shocking? EnLightning? I have no idea, my wit cannot compare. Any Ideas for some storm based ones?

Like, maybe just "Time to get the hell out of (Town name here)"?

Oh, by the way, I love this place, its positively electrifying!

Take a Gauss, you'll never figure it out.

Aha, by induction, this is quite simple.

Does that have enough capacitance to carry everything?

Hey, coulomb down!

This is getting quite revolting.

I'm sure that if we do this in parallel, we'll encounter less resistance.

Stop alternating plans or I'll diode what to do!

I don't have the capacitance to listen to this anymore.

If he's a drinking mage, something just "shorts out." Works better if it's a naval campaign and he just calls it getting "sloshed."

I want to say there's an electric touch-range cantrip out there. If so, just have that on hand and always go to shake official's hands. When they flip out from the shock, you know what to say.:smalltongue:

close (literally)

as in, it's close range and not touch (but that's better anyways) magic of faerun p 91, "electric jolt" an electrical sor/wiz cantrip. 1d3 electric damage, no save, so I think it's a ray. great for fell animating and fits the theme well

Well, shoot.:smallamused:

For further ideas, you could go with a Warforged and just say "Danger! Danger! HIGH VOLTAGE!" Because Electric Six is a goldmine for these things.

Well, if I understand the rules, I can use the spark effect word as a single target spell with a 30 foot range, or as a ten foot cone, and still have it be a cantrip. Thats my main blast.

" This effect word deals 1d4 points of electricity damage. If the wordspell with this effect word has only a single target, it requires a melee or ranged touch attack and does not allow a saving throw."

So I can choose between having to hit it or letting it save.

I love this variant!

Back on topic, I really enjoy these rather punny words, thanks!

glad you liked me puns :smallamused:

on a related note, electric six reminds me of johnny five, the robot from the lovably awful "short circuit" movies, which are a goldmine for terrible quotes and puns about electricity

reminds me of the picture in complete mage with the caption

"This evoker kindly shows the demon the difference between Resistance and Immunity"

On that note, ask for an electric version of the immunity-bypassing feats. I know Sandstorm had one for fire damage and Frostburn had one for cold damage. I know one of the two also messes with resistances, but I for the life of me can never remember which is which.

After killing part of a group of people with a lightning bolt, turn to the rest and say "Why so shocked?"

If there's a recurring villain, nickname him Rod. See how long it takes for him to realize you mean lightning rod. Send him a long metal pole as a present, one day.

When you need to retreat, say "Let's make like lightning and bolt!" Alternatively, when you want someone to go away "Why don't you make like lightning and bolt?"

You can get a shocker lizard familiar with the improved familiar feat, if you want to sacrifice optimization for fluff.

When someone's acting odd, ask them why they seem so jolted.

Wear a Grateful Dead logo t-shirt to game sessions.

Alternate with the superhero Flash t-shirt.

IIRC it's the Fire one, Searing Spell. You'll also want the +1 meta that gives a certain element +1/dice and the +2 that gives +3/dice, stacking. For Fire, the +1 is Fiery Spell and the +2 is Scorching Spell. Arcane Thesis everything together for a total of +2 adjustment on your spell that ignores immunity, halves resistance, and does an average of 7.5 damage per dice. Shocking!

Potential names for the metamagics:
Immunity-bypass: Static Spell
+1/dice: Charged Spell
+3/dice: Shocking Spell

Also: "CLEAR!"
