What are the best ways to control a vampire in 3.5 and/or Pathfinder, prefrence goes to solutions from Pathfinder. A buddy of mine wants to have a manipulative tiefling woman control a speechless vampire assassin. He would like for the vampire to have no tongue and to be unable to disobey the tiefling woman on his own, possiblity of PC interference is welcomed and encouraged. He hasn't chosen a class for her, so a build suggestion that would allow her to be manipulative while controlling the vampire could work. The game is going to be in Pathfinder, but he isn't beyond using 3.5 sources for his own use.

The most obvious thing is Command Undead (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/c/command-undead).

Charm for Undead! :D

Tieflings get +2 Int for Pathfinder right? *Checks* So they'd do well as wizards, wouldn't they?

Enough Enchantment spells can make you very manipulative.

Going off that, Thrallherd (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/prestigeClasses/thrallherd.htm) would work wonderfully here.

Blackmail. Have the vamp's heart in a box with a wooden stake nearby or something.

Now you too can have your own vampire!
