This deserves its own thread.
IT WILL BASH FRIENDSHIP AND TOLERANCE INTO YOUR SKULL! (http://games.adultswim.com/robot-unicorn-attack-heavy-metal-twitchy-online-game.html) And it will do so with awesome music.

Apparently I am not allowed to get my skull bashed in because I am not a US citizen.

That is probably just the 15 seconds ad that plays before the game.
I like the song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o3TTuGrYuQ), but I just can't help but feel replacing Erasure with Heavy Metal misses the appeal of the original Robot Unicorn Attack.

I like it quite a lot. It adds another level of irony in my opinion. I like irony.

This. The heavy metal version misses the point. (http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/robot-unicorn-attack-harmony-harmony)
Hell, I'm willing to bet part of the reason for all the MLP-mania exploding on the internet is due to this thing convincing manly men to give unicorns and rainbows a fair shake.
It definitely misses the point!
I like heavy metal, but there is something manly in bashing stars with rainbowy unicorn while listening erasure that I can't explain :-)

It might, but it wasn't camp enough IMO. Unless this metal piece is directly from MLP:FIP - it would make for a properly convoluted irony.
