So a friend of mine and I were talking the other day and I recently finished watching Rurouni Kenshin, and were trying to come up with a way to "accurately" represent Kenshin in basic Pathfinder. Looking through the Core Rulebook and Ultimate Combat, we came up with a solution, which I'd like to now share with you and ask your thoughts:

Take the monk class and make the Katana a Monk Special Weapon and give the monk proficiency with it. So what do y'all think of this?
