Alright this comes down to one major issue:
Could you use the duskblade's arcane channeling ability through a martial maneuver?
It describes taking a standard action to channel a spell through a melee attack, but most martial strikes are often melee attacks and are usually standard actions. The way the two are worded is slightly ambiguous (in concern to each other at least) and doesn't seem to confirm or deny this for me.
The reason I ask, is that I was thinking of experimenting with a build that uses the Ring the Bell* feat (dragon magazine compendium) in tandem with arcane channeling and maneuvers. Of course finding an ability that allows ranged weapon attacks might be easier (I don't really care about the monk thing) if one exists.
*it basically allows ranged unarmed attacks
