Got bored, and felt I should do something for OotS since this is an OotS forum after all. Here's Tarquin and Malack, since I find them to be the most interesting characters since Redcloak!

Really cool stuff. :D I like how it's got a big manga influence but you've still got a really standalone style; it doesn't look like you're imitating anyone. Actually reminds me of the brilliant old 80s mangas more than anything. <3 Very lovely.

Anyway, here's a sketchdump that I drew while going through the archives. I'll clean this up after I get back from food! Therkla's adorable, there's just something really fun about drawing a half-orc in Asian clothing...

I agree with the Therkla comments. A lot of sketches don't always come through in the final product, like Therkla and V in the first sketchdump here, but sometimes they come through better, like Roy and Sabine and Qarr. I guess that's just art. Therkla's tusks could be bigger, I guess, but I'm terribly at judging that kind of thing because I have no real-life reference for making cute girls with fangs.

Also, I guess I don't mind doing requests, considering these are just quick sketches anyway. Fire away! I will do them if they pique my interest!

Beautiful artwork all around. I love your interpretations of the characters given the somewhat limited artwork of the source material. You manage to give them a unique look that i feel captures the personalities of each individual.

I especially loved Soon and the ghost Paladins from the previous thread, and how you made each individual like in the comic.

I'm a 46 year-old father of two who races mountain bikes through the treacherous mountains of South Korea, and I just squeee'd like a middle school girl a her first pop-singer concert!

Anyways, I'd like to repeat my request from your first board: A manga version of Roy making the leap onto Xykon's zombie dragon.

And while criticism wasn't specifically requested, a few minor things:
Sabine's hair: I always saw it as very curly, not Lt. Uhura's.
Malack: A little too short/small. Malick is quite tall, more like John Lithgow.
Therkla: The teeth have already been mentioned. But she still does look amazing! Wanted to make sure you knew that!
Tsukiko: Waiting on the final draft. The current sketch, at first glance, looks like she has a codpiece...

So looking forward to seeing more of your work!

The reason Tarquin looks taller than Malack is perspective, but since there isn't anything in the background to help with the illusion I guess it ended up looking wrong.

Anyway, I think I'll be doing some comic pages. I'm thinking about redoing the Sapphire Guard thing from the last thread.

Gotta agree on sabine's hair. Looks curlier in the comic.

Also, malack is taller than Tarquin ,http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0822.html and his head in your drawing seems a little small in that hood.

Kudos on the symbol of the Empire of blood, nice little detail there.

Can you do a close up on o'chule? From this perspective he kind of looks too much like Armstrong from Full Metal Alchemist.

Oh wow... The fact that you actually made Xykon... an undead monster in every sense of the word... look almost sympathetic says worlds of good for your artistic talent. Also, that's probably the single most badass drawing of Roy I've ever seen.

I love the Jump page, only I think Xykon's expression is a bit off. He looks genuinely afraid, kind of. Which is crazy. XD In the comic, his "Unholy crap!" is very clearly a cry of surprise, not fear.

I have to say your works are even more amazing now (especially the panelling... not to say it wasn't amazing before). Also, I love your Tarquin and your Kyrie (most of them all... And about Therkla and facial expressions looking better in rough sketches than in finished works, it happens to me all the time XD
