Less of a primary book, more a like Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. Awesome in a redux. The drawings of the original comic, Dungeon Crawlin' Fools, was crappy, for blocky stick figures, right? But classic. People can grab themselves a copy of better looking jokes on 3.5 rules. If 343 Industries can do it, I'm sure Mr. Burlew can.
Unless he gets a 3rd party to do that, too.
It isn't any better than the original, just better looking. Like Halo: Combat Evolved became.

Whaddya say?

Wait, are you saying you'd like to see Rich redraw the comics?

I think I speak for most people when I say that I'd like to see Rich work on more new material rather than remaster old stuff! (; Besides, OOTs art style has grown on me. Complicated? No. But it works.

Hey, at least the colours and panel borders were fixed in DCF!

Only change I'd want in a remastered volume 1 would be for Roy to say "Nooo!" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=27RVJJfny4I) as he throws Xykon at the Gate. Maybe with giant dewback lizards walking in the foreground. :smallwink:

Also, in this comic, http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0648.html make Crystal shoot first to take away the moral grayness.

The Chinese version would have to read "DO NOT WANT!"

Back to the original point, all longrunning webcomics (8-Bit Theater and Sinfest, to name the two longest-running I know of) have the art style refined as the comic progresses. Heck, all COMICS have that happen. Look at some of the original Calvin and Hobbes comics from when it first started running, and compare it to later comics. The art style is always going to stay the same, but much, much more refined. I kind of like the gradual changes in quality, because those "crappy" drawings are what drew me in and captured my interest.

No. No, no, no, nonononononononononono.

No.

If Rich goes George Lucas on us, I quit this comic.

While not changing existing strips, the book DSTP has extra strips before that, which show that Crystal had been repeatedly trying to get Haley killed.

No, no, we need to go close to the beginning. Haley's character is too well-established by that point.

I say it get changed so Sabine does something absolutely horrible to Haley when we first meet the Linear Guild, thus justifying the way Haley hates her without even knowing anything about her. It doesn't matter if that taught us a few things about Haley's character, what matters is that she always looks like a hero. :smalltongue: No one can know Haley hated first!

I would be hard pressed to think of a project that would have less commercial appeal and require more work than re-doing all the art for the first 120 strips.

Sorry, this is not going to happen.
