I just downloaded Murderous Ghosts from Vincent Baker's webstore.
It's a game for 2 players only, a Master of Ceremonies and the other player who plays a guy who's lost in a haunted industrial ruin.
Each person has a "choose your own adventure" style book. The players read the entries in their books, add details, ask questions and ultimately tell the other person which pages to go to next.
There is a random card drawing mechanic which adds whether things go well or things go badly for the player and also how close the player is to escaping the complex.
This game looks pretty lethal! The player wins if he escapes. The player book even says "I give you one in three odds, but if you play sharp you can improve them."
The MC wins if he creates ghosts that are so scary that you're both creeped out and troubling questions remain unanswered. He loses if the player helps the ghosts to find rest.
It's a one shot of course but it looks like it has some replay value.
