A Karmic Strike Question: When is the damage to your character calculated?

While browsing old topics I came across this:

Karmic Strike (http://dnd.savannahsoft.eu/feat-1708-karmic-strike.html) (CW, p. 102) only triggers if they hit, but it doesn't have the exception to the normal AoO rules (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/attacksOfOpportunity.htm#makinganAttackofOpportuni ty) Robilar's Gambit (http://dnd.savannahsoft.eu/feat-2465-robilar-s-gambit.html) (PHB II, p. 82) does. AoOs interrupt the triggering action, therefore Karmic Strike interrupts any attack that would trigger it.

Is this correct? If I activated the feat, someone hit me, and I used my AoO to disarm my enemy, would my character not take damage?

By RAW, you are correct.

In practice, I'd say it doesn't work that way-- the fluff says the attacks occur at the same time, so I'd rule the attacks occur at the same time.
