Theres improved skirmish which gives the extra 2d6/1ac when you move 20' (complete scoundrel), and the desert fire feat (tome of battle) lets you add 1d6 damage to a desert strike maneuver if you move 10' (text doesnt call it skirmish, but table does)

Anyone think of other ways to beef up skirmish?

Unseen Seer levels will give you one more die of Skirmish than going straight Scout, but at the cost of some AC bonus.

can't believe i didnt think of the handbooks lol...just had a look and can't see any easy ways of getting extra dice beyond what i've mentioned though unfortunately.

The unseen seer looks interesting, it won't fit my current characters theme, but could be good for a rogue in the future

Dragon Devotee (from Races of The Dragon) increases Skirmish dice by 3d6 in 5 levels in addition to giving you the Draconic template (Str Con and Cha +2) and some free Sorcerer spells for some reason.

Dragon Devotee gets you +2d6 in 5 levels. It also gives you sorcerer casting that could get you into Unseen Seer.

Another simple option is Dragonfire Strike (Dragon Magic), which also makes it fire damage.

I think Halfling Monk substitution levels give skirmish dice.

I can't remember, does Skirmish count as equivalent to Sneak Attack for purposes of the Craven feat?

I've found skirmishers boots in the magic item compendium:
+2 to skirmish damage (continuous, no action needed) and twice a day with a swift command you can get an extra melee or ranged attack if you have moved more than 10 feet.
