What would Daigo and Kazumi's kids would be like? We know that he or she may become a monk but what will his personality would be?
1. Daigo
2. Kazumi
3. Mini Me (Exactly like his or her parents except one-eighth of their size).

If i had to guess...

Probably a baby until the end of the series and it's kind of hard to gauge a person's personality from being a baby.


Maybe some sort of cutaway epilogue at the end saying what the kid does after the events of the series, but i wouldn't bet on it.

We don't know anything. The kid is just as likely to become a monk as becoming a sorcerer who takes over the world. It's way, WAY too soon to be speculating on the personality and class of an extremely minor bit character who we will likely never see past infancy.

Except it's totally within the Giant's writing style to have him be a monk as a minor call back--bottomless pit of self-reference and all. Not that I think we'll ever flash-forward far enough into the future to see the young Kato's class (outside of gag panels like Goblin Dan).

...he might be in the Giant's next story, though! The whatever-it-is he's going to do after OotS finishes. I don't think we know whether it will be in the same world, but if so, Kato the Younger might turn up.

Done. I suspect we'll find out in just a few strips time. My guess is there will be bout 3 more strips with Redcloak, then switch to Hinjo getting Niu's message. And the baby will be born around then.

That's what happens if the ship's "unimportant" cargo was thrown out and replaced with food. If you know what I mean.
