Title says it all people. What other class/prcs are there out there that get still mind besides monk?

Lists of stuff (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19871954/Lists_of_Stuff) says Archivist 4. Nothing else on the list.

Dang. Cool list tho. On a different subject, besides Unapproachable East and Shining South, what are the other two Forgotten Realms region books?

I would guess (not having any of them) something with the north and the west.

Does it need to specifically be called "still mind?" There are probably a few different ways you could get +2 vs enchantments. (Being an Elf, for instance).

Doesn't Waterdeep have a book too?

There are some monk-intended classes and such that require it, though the only one I can think of right now is Zerth Cenobite.

Which is exactly why I asked in the first place :smalltongue: that class is so cool.

Which is exactly why I asked in the first place :smalltongue: that class is so cool.

I differ in that. While the fluff is actually pretty cool, the mechanics are quite flawed.

Compare to Psionic/Fist of Zuoken:

Psionic Fists get twice the powers (10 compared to 5), one per each level (instead of one every two levels, except for 1st and 9th)
Psionic Fists get nearly 2.5 times the amount of power points than Zerth Cenobite (though they get roughly the same PP from Wisdom)
Psionic Fists get 5th level powers from the Psychic Warrior power list, which are pretty useful. They also get powers one, two, or even three levels earlier.
Psionic Fists get two bonus psionic feats, which help a bit with the feat starvation of the typical Monk.

Meanwhile, Zerth Cenobites get the following in exchange for what the Psionic Fists get:

A 1/day ability that grants extra actions. If it were at least two or three times per day, it would have been pretty awesome, but you're limited to one use per day. Hustle, a 2nd level power, constantly grants you the same 1st level ability for 3 measly power points.
A rerolling ability usable 1-2 times per day. This one is pretty decent, but then you get luck feats, or even abilities that grant you exactly the same ability...
Timeless Step, which is useful as long as you know what to do with it. Say, if you have to wait until an enemy's buff runs out, or a cloud to dissipate, etc.
A 1-2 times per day minor insight bonus to either an attack roll, a damage roll, a saving throw or a skill check. Insight bonuses are pretty common, and you can get Offensive Precognition/Offensive Prescience to grant you a better (and lasting!) bonus. Oh, and if you spend 1 feat for Expanded Knowledge, you could get Precognition as a 2nd level power and get exactly the same bonus for 3 power points.
Temporal Strike, which is just slightly better than Quivering Palm in terms of "limited use ability" because it can be used 1/day. At least you don't need to succeed on the hit (you activate the ability on a successful hit that deals damage, unlike Stunning Fist or QF), but you still need the enemy to fail a Will save (if it succeeds, no more ability until next day). And even then, the enemy can return to the time stream, so you're not entirely in control of how many rounds the effect lasts. It can be useful to buff while waiting for the enemy to come, or set up a trap...I dunno, but you'll never be sure on whom to use it (maybe the BBEG, but a BBEG failing a Will save is uncommon...)
Precognitive Surge, which is basically what Precognition should have been on the first place, because the bonus pretty much allows you to auto-succeed on the check (and it uses Monk levels for stack-up, to boot!). But, again, once per day. And it's basically a 1/day Psionic Moment of Prescience psi-like ability, except it doesn't use manifester levels but class levels.
Timeless Body, which is a 1/day use of a psionic power.

The big problem with Zerth Cenobite is that it sacrifices half your psionic potential for psi-like abilities that could have been just added to the Psionic Fist/of Zuoken's power list, at least for the lower-level ones, and then give them potentially more uses per day. Given that most of the daily abilities of the Zerth Cenobite could be easily replicated by powers, it essentially makes it inelegant, if only because allowing the character to play with their power points in order to make use of their powers would have been an easier and more effective solution. Psionic Fist could, on the other hand, provide the Monk with the few stuff that they desperately need (a "flight" capability in one way or another, energy resistance, better AC, Hustle, Mind Blank, etc.) in order to make their task much, much better.

The one lone advantage of Zerth Cenobite compared to Psionic Fist/of Zuoken is that the former's prerequisites can be achieved by many classes, while others are limited (a Githyanki/Githzerai can't get into Psionic Fist because it requires a redundant feat, and so does a Dromite, a Duergar, a Maenad, a Xeph, a Half-Giant and an Elan, not to mention a Kalashtar, an Eneko and a Synad).

Oh, and in case it's not clear: Psionic Fist/of Zuoken also has Still Mind as a prerequisite. In case you wonder why the rant.

Zerth is awful, sure. But I think what tickles people so much about the class is that you can literally punch people into next week.

I think that concept is worth saving :smalltongue:

Has any board ever done it in an Iron Chef?

Doesn't Waterdeep have a book too?
There is, and even more:

Silver Marches
Unaproachable East
City of Splendor (Waterdeep)
Underdark
Shining South
Mysteries of the Moonsea (very different in style and layout)

There's also quite some regional information in:
Lords of Darkness
Champions of Valor
Chamoions of Ruin
Serpent Kingdoms
