What happens when a Lich Human Sorcerer uses Polymorph on himself to turn into an Elf?

Does he lose the archetype? Or is it applied on the new form?
Can he be healed with "cure" spells?
Does he retain all of his special attacks?
And what happens if he dies?

I imagine he would lose the lich template and just be an elf. What happens after death would be up to the GM, though I would probably say that since the sorcerer's soul is still in the phylactery, the sorcerer would regenerate as a human lich following death. Alternatively, since the soul is in storage, it could be that any form the lich took would slowly degrade and gain the lich template.

He would gain the Humanoid type and lose the Undead type, meaning:

Does he lose the archetype? Or is it applied on the new form? Neither, the template is still applied but he doesn't gain any benefits from it that are based on his form (as he's now an Elf).
Can he be healed with "cure" spells? Yes.
Does he retain all of his special attacks? Any Supernatural special attacks stay. Not sure about the Extraordinary ones.
And what happens if he dies? Phylactery should work as normal.

He is still a Lich, but at the moment he happens to be a squishy ponce as well.
