I'm neither tall nor skinny. I'm about 176 cm and around 80 kg when I'm in good shape.
But I do have beautiful flowing long hair.

I'm sad. Our boffing club gets to meet on both Saturdays and Sundays this semester, but I hurt my right hand yesterday punching a big chunk of ice, so I can't go today; chronic tendonitis in my left wrist prevents me from using that hand either. I do recommend that anybody interested try it! I didn't start from the get go, one hour a day, no exceptions. I was doing it piecemeal on and off for the first couple months, until I finally got into the habit of doing it consistently every day.

Also, there may be a parkour class at UCLA next quarter! I really hope there is, and if so, it could end up leading to photos. One of the most fun tiny things about parkour is that any time that you stop in the middle of a run and just stay where you are for a moment, you are practically guaranteed to be in an awesome pose.

I wish there were a parkour class here! My school is too small. A couple of friends have an informal parkour club but I don't think it's meeting yet this semester and I'm notoriously bad at showing up to club meetings. And I don't know if the muay thai club is meeting yet this semester.
So speaking of learning new things, I've been practicing doing stuff with my left hand lately. I switched to lefty mouse on my computer, and I've been trying to do more things with my left hand, like brushing my teeth, dealing cards when I play solitaire (I have to use real cards because my computer broke; this is a school library computer), and writing a little in class when we're at a slow point in the lecture and I can take the time to write a few lines with my left hand.

Either you always take pictures at the perfect angle to get only one red eye, or you do have laser-vision in one eye.

Looks a bit like what happens to my hair when it gets longer- if it were straight hair it would just be a straight fall an inch or 2 longer, but it curls hard enough that once it hits a certain length it kind of just sproings out instead of growing *down*. Well, that's true of the picture I referenced. That picture was taken last summer and I haven't had a haircut since then. However, I never said your hair was shorter, but looks shorter! Because your ponytail isn't visible in the shot! My loophole makes me right! :smalltongue:

Interestingly enough, I get fewer comments about my hair colour when I dye it - passersby are much more likely to tell me that I'm ginger (like I don't know) than they are to point out that I've got black and red hair (or whathaveyou).

I get that. I don't have a full beard but I also don't shave quite as often as I maybe ought, so I usually have a couple of millimeters of scruff. And in the fall and winter I wear a beanie low on my forehead, usually covering my eyebrows. And when I'm out in public I usually seem a little bit on edge because my agoraphobia is acting up.

That's assuming that nerds and geeks are unattractive. I'd say that a forum like this is as good a place as any to find a good sample of nerds and geeks, and clearly, based on the sample in this thread at least, many nerds and geeks are not unattractive. (I'll take everybody's word for it because my opinion is kind of skewed.)

I was just joking, it's pretty obvious that, since I enjoy ropleplaying, I'm a geek myself, and yet I'm still quite popular with women, so why would I believe in a stereotype that not only hurts me, but I have first hand experience about and know to be untrue?
