Another of my 5 level Prestiges based on one fun casting concept. This time its Extradimensional Space.
The Hammerspace Mage
Prerequisites:
- 3rd Level Arcane Spellcasting
- Know (Arcana) 4 ranks, Know (Planes) 4 ranks
- Must know any two spells that create or interact with extradimensional space
Hit Dice: d4
Skills Per level: 2+Int
Proficiencies: None
Skills: Concentration, Craft, Know (Arcana, Planes, Engineering), Profession, Spellcraft
{table=head] Level | BAB | Fort | Ref | Will | Special | Casting Progression
1st| +0 | +0 | +0 | +2 | Space and Mass | +1 of Previous Spellcasting Class
2nd| +1 | +0 | +0 | +3 | Space Beyond Space | +1 of Previous Spellcasting Class
3rd| +1 | +1 | +1 | +3 | Space Within Space | +1 of Previous Spellcasting Class
4th| +2 | +1 | +1 | +4 | Locked Pocket | +1 of Previous Spellcasting Class
5th| +2 | +1 | +1 | +4 | Space and Time | +1 of Previous Spellcasting Class
[/table]
Space and Mass: You can fit things into a smaller space than many think is possible. Any item you pack or carry is treated as 20% smaller
Space Beyond Space: When you use extradimensional space or cast a spell that creates extradimensional space, treat it as if it can contain 20% more (or is a step larger) than usual.
Space Within Space: Select one item you own. You can now use this item as a bag of holding. This only works for you or another Hammerspace Mage.
Locked Pocket: You can lock down extradimentional pockets and gateways to extradimentional space (including your plane form the Space and Time ability). It requires a Spellcraft, Open Lock, Dispel or Break (Tear it open) check to get through without the Hammerspace Mage's permission. The DC is equal to 10 + Character level + Primary Casting Ability Modifier
Space and Time: When you gain access to 9th level spells (or level 17, whichever comes first) you gain Genesis as a free spell, and can use it once with no XP or GP cost. Once created you can access your personal plane using your item selected as part of the Space Within Space ability.
Additionally, any spell cast by the Hammerspace Mage that creates an extradimentional space is treated as under the effects of extend spell with no change to spell slots.
Tell me what you think
