I've been playing Shadowrun 4th ed, and... I'm having difficulty finding ways to increase my character's intuition without magic or technomancy. There's an implant for every bloody thing else, but I can't find one for Intuition...

A little help?

Become a freelancer (http://www.catalystgamelabs.com/faq/). Include some dubiously balanced piece of 'ware with some good fluff to explain why it does what it does. That's where we get things like "the brain implant that reduces XP costs" and "high-tech underwear that stacks with armor in direct defiance of armor stacking rules", and that's where you can get whatever you want.

I'm not sure off the top, but have you tried the Forums over at Dumpshock (http://forums.dumpshock.com/)?

Umm....How about a simpler option....Homebrew?

Well it won't boost Intuition directly, but there's some nanites in Augmentation I believe that add their rating to intuition checks. I don't think they apply to magic though (so can't use that for drain resist or whatever).

For example, the fluff that explains how a "cerebral booster" improves Logic would also explain a piece of cultured bioware that improves Intuition. Just apply the same principle to a different part of the physical brain, bam, done.

RAW:

In Augmentation, you can buy genetech that improves your max Intuition, which lets you spend non-max cost for one more level than you could otherwise. It's called "genetic optimization". And if you're just starting the game, you can take the 10-point quality "Genetic Heritage" to gain the optimization for no nuyen or Essence cost, so it basically becomes a second Exceptional Attribute you can take that can be stacked with a normally-purchased Exceptional Attribute.

EDIT: also, this thread belongs in the "other systems" forum.
