So, I recently did an interview (http://twoguysmetalreviews.blogspot.com/2012/01/interview-with-francesco-artusato.html) with Francesco Artusato who is a pretty famous member of All Shall Perish (he was in guitar world a few months back)

so what do i do to get this to a maximum number of people?
I'm not so much interested in money (though that is nice) as much as blog views ( my blog ishere (http://twoguysmetalreviews.blogspot.com/))

I know there are some pretty smart people here who have experience with the industry

can anybody help me?

Well, make sure there's a text version available. Then, do what Anxe suggested and spam forums, but don't just link to your blog, include the full interview. Then after the interview, pimp your blog.

You might also try putting the audio onto YouTube with subtitles. That way some dude who's looking for music with the artist's name or whatever might run into your interview and stick around to hear more.

I didn't bother to look at it, because the topic doesn't interest me, but the typical answer is advertising.

Popularity for blogs...the biggest thing is just updating regularly. The biggest reason my blog isn't popular is because I only write on random occasions. That said, I've utilized knol, etc to pull something over 45,000 views total. Not bad, considering that writing is only a very minor portion of my life.
