This is only a quick question: What are the prices for items that boost only skills (and nothing else)?
I seem to be unable to find the values for epic items (and those that I find boost two skills or even do "other stuff" in addition), so I'm unclear what a Ring of X +30 or +40 should cost.

Ring of +30 would use normal Magic Item pricing guidelines. Anything over +30 would be considered epic. Epic items are priced as normal, but then the base price is multiplied by 10.

So a Ring of +30 Jump would be 90,000, while a Ring of +31 Jump would be 961,000.

Edit - For reference, base skill boosting magic items are (bonus squared) * 100. This can be found in the SRD which I cant access at the moment, so I cannot provide a link.

If an item has an epic bonus(ie. >30 in the case of skills), you multiply the price by 10.

Therefore, an item that has a +31 bonus to skill would cost 100 * (31*31) * 10 = 961000gp.

EDIT: Ninja'ed, apparently.

Thanks. I still have not found it in various books but the rules seems consistent with the prices.

Well, did you look in the Epic Level Handbook?
