Since my first thread bombed out and did not post right here is try 2

Crafty games has put out a rules lite game for the Mistborn (http://www.crafty-games.com/content/mistborn-adventure-game-softcover-retail-edition) universe by Brian Sanderson.

I like Crafty games a lot and the parts I have seen look decent but I wonder if anyone here has tried it before I start to put money down.

You'd probably have better luck on the relevant bit of the crafty games forum (http://www.crafty-games.com/forum/index.php?board=21.0).

(And I second your fondness for things that are crafty; particularly Fantasy Craft, in my case).

I know about those forums and have posted there during the Spycraft days (Pre Mastercraft) but I wanted an opinion from non-crafty addicts. They can get a bit obsessive/Fanboy about their systems and I wanted a second opinion if possible.

What's funny is that I was expecting Mistborn to be a FantasyCraft setting. I got the primer/free startup guide as a pdf and was not really impressed and their rule system didn't impress me at all. And the rules-light book is still 563 pages long! Too much for a pdf... There may be very little rules and a lot of setting, but I just can't get 400 pages of settings now.

I'd still love to get a faire review of that game.
