One of my Mutants and Masterminds players is Mao Zedong in a Robot Suit, aka the Strong Marcher. Who should he fight? We are doing a Silver Age, sorta campy thing, and we were fighting aliens. What would the Strong Marcher fight? :smallconfused:

You said you're fighting aliens. Isn't that the answer to your question?

He should fight Metal Wolf (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metal_Wolf_Chaos). There will be much hot-blooded bad-assery I assure you.

Ever see "Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot?" Switch the flag out and you've got what you're looking for.
Maybe he could do something with poetry, too? Mao was a fantastic poet. Like ... freestyle slam poetry as he punches aliens in the face with his giant robot.

Well, it's not quite Metal Wolf, but Franklin Delano Roosevelt piloting his transforming wheelchair (http://www.etsy.com/listing/79789662/limited-edition-fdr-battle-for-america) could be a good contender.

Oooh, Roosevelt is a good idea. Alternatively, you could have him fight Teddy, who doesn't need a robo-suit to compete.
The Rising Sun, a personification of Imperial Japan, would probably work.
The Dolly Llama, who would be a 20 foot tall llama.

But wouldn't a Dolly Llama be well, dolly sized? :smalltongue:

My friend's dad had to fight giant robot Ronald Regan in a game of Gammaworld. Of course, he had to set of a nuclear reactor to destroy it (killing the whole party as well), dying with honor. His party members didn't consider being killed by him "honorable".

These days, it should be giant zombie Ronald Reagan.

How about a giant Nikolai Tesla in Tesla'd up giant robot suits. It can have giant Telsa Coils and sparks flying everywhere. Maybe a mutant Albert Einstein with incredible mental powers.
For fun checkout badassoftheweek.com for all kinds of historical or mythological people to draw upon. A good number of them were, or are, alive in the 20th century.

Dolly Llama would be wearing massive amounts of sequins, bleeched blonde and noteably voluptupous.
And, apparently quite nightmare inducing. :smalleek:
