Can Fire Riposte be used when getting hit by a bull rush?

Fire Riposte needs you to be struck with a melee or natural weapon. A standard bull rush is neither, so you can't use the maneuver. If the said bull rush were a side effect of a melee hit, though, you could have used it.

I'm sure they meant to errata this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97773), and we'd know the real answer to this question if it wasn't more important that we know that Alacritous Cogitation allows one to “...cast any arcane spell you know of the same level or lower and of casting time no longer than 1 round.”
