warforged charger build?

I'm taking over a 3.5/Pathfinder game and the old DM wants to play a Warforge Charger Fighter. Both of us are not sure how the LA/Racial Levels work.

Would the minimum level be 8 (LA 4, 4 racial levels)

Or would the minimum be 4 (LA 4)

Everyone is about level 7 sooo how would this work?

Eberron's warforged don't have a +4 LA... where'd you get that number?

Warforged Charger is the race.

Normal Warforged don't have LA but the warforged charger does.

Well then, he'd be level 8, if he has LA+4 and 4 RHD.

He would have 4 racial hit dice and a Level adjustment of +4, making him equivalent to an 8th level character.

Alternatively if he wants to play a warforged that charges at things then a basic warforged dungeoncrasher variant fighter going into into warforged juggernaut is pretty solid.

Or simply play a normal Warforged and cast Alter Self on yourself to become a Warforged Charger.

Alter Self... Haha yeah that would suck going up against a Warforged Scout that used that tactic :p

I let him know about the alternate ideas however he may not be playing much due to a new job so ill probably give him the race but without the racial hit die.

It won't be to bad since 2 level 7 characters have 70k worth of stuff (another DM gave them a ton of money and stuff)

He won't be overpowered haha
