Ooh I had not noticed that archive. Not really much of an art connoisseur, but I can appreciate a good picture.
Funny ones

Every time I look at this I have to resist the urge to burst out laughing. It's got just this straight forward tone of ruining that guy's day which makes me giggle.

I like the reverse alien the blood magus pulls off. This sells the class so well, it almost makes you forget that it's a terrible half-caster progression.

Mind screwed does not begin to describe what crystalline memories does to you. Thankfully we have this wonderful illustration!

Oh my gods, actual splint mail. The guy in the picture isn't particularly funny, but the fact that he is actually wearing splint-mail as was pictured in the PHB is hilarious. Seriously it looks like he got it at a discount store since it was intentionally built with gaps which I can only guess were left there because the armorer ran out of metal bands to make the armor out of. I ain't an armor expert but that just looks silly. I do like the detailed battle scars on his face though.
Stuff I just liked

I like cavalry. These two stood out to me. I don't know why in particular but I like em.

I rarely see bards actually playing music so much as being trickster types in most of the 3.5 art but these were a couple and I liked them.

Adventuring wizard this screams to me and I fail my will save to be charmed.

The nastiness that haunts your dreams...

Edit: Bo-urns. I'm a 30-something geek who can't properly link a pic...

Edit 1.1: Also, D&D and d20 is too limited. There are some great pics out there worth mentioning...most on deviantart.com.

Jozan's judgin' face in this one catapulted him to the top of my favorite iconics list...

...but he probably shouldn't have been such a jerk, because he totally dies when they go into the dungeon.

Heroes of Horror and the Tainted Raver, such an awesome picture.

That guy's perfected the Slasher Smile. The pose looks really goofy though.

Poor Thrall

EDIT: Forgot one of my favorites, from MoI:

That image, more than any of the class abilities, made me want to play one.

Anyway, there are other threads for just awesome pictures in general.

Here's one of my favourites: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/exhbk_gallery/90597.jpgToo small to do it justice, though, but still.
