3.5 game with some PF stuff allowed. In this case the DM is all for the PF rules on simple guns given the current level of technology. I was wondering if you guys had some theories on optimizing an "energy gun" akin to the above bow. Ways to make it better? More useful? More economical?

This will likely be for a Spellslinger rather than a Gunslinger. DM is against gestalts/dips without backstory he approves of.

Artificers make the best Gunslingers since they can make there own guns... OUT OF WANDS! (and I believe they have an infusion that allows for reloading wands more easy)

In fact Clint Eastwood was an Artificer 20 :smallwink:

Never have been a huge fan of the Artificer. The infusions are cool and all but the flare of it really never was something I was into. At least not in the way they set it up.

It never really allowed for the magical stuff (without homebrews) that I REALLY wanted to build.
