greetings playgrounders,

long story short, I have taken it upon myself to try and track down a pokemon d20 system so I can run it for my poke-fanatic buddies.

I have selected this one as being most suited to my purposes

http://pokemond20.wikidot.com/

I've given the entire thing a good look over and feel satisifed with my choice with a single exception.

the "Control Pokemon" class feature....

says that a pokemon will not obey if it's CR is greater than the trainer's control rating...

however, unless I missed it, it doesn't state anywhere how to determine this rating......

help? suggestions?

The Red Towel: Moved to D&D 3e/3.5e/d20.

I just went to the site and saw Psychic Specialist gets Telekinesis at will... I am confused...

Anyway I recommend making it a roll Vs roll thing :D

The "Trainer" gains a bonus to his/her "Catch roll" against the pokemons "resist roll" the pokemon adds its CR to the roll while the trainer adds there Trainer level

The original version of the class looks like it follows a very similar wording, except using "Caster level" instead of "Control Rating." I'm going to guess this just means the character's class level, but with weird and confusing phrasing used to replace D&D-relic phrasing.

EDIT:
And looking further into the classes section, I'm going to also hazard the guess that this stacks level-for-level with the Profession Classes' advancement.

this sounds like a good starting point,

so you think it should be just straight level?
