You represent one god. I represent an entire universe. - Lord Harold, Planar Exarch to a Divine Crusader

The 9 Outer Planes, some of the most famous of the planes of existence, are the epitome of the nine shades of alignment. And just as their are true exemplars of the nine points of alignment, there are also exemplars of the 9 planes, who carry great power simply by sheer devotion.

Weapon Proficiencies: A Planar Exarch gains no new proficiencies.

Domain: At 1st level, the Planar Exarch gains the corresponding Planar Domain of their chosen Outer Plane, with access to its domain spells as spells known (see below), and the Planar Domain's granted power as an effective Cleric level equal to twice their class level.

Spellcasting: A Planar Exarch casts divine spells, which are drawn from their chosen domain. A Planar Exarch must choose and prepare his spells in advance (see below).

To prepare or cast a spell, a Planar Exarch must have a Charisma score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a Planar Exarch’s spell is 10 + the spell level + the Planar Exarch’s Charisma modifier. A Planar Exarch's Caster Level is equal to their character level.

Like other spellcasters, a Planar Exarch can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day. His base daily spell allotment is given on the table above. When the table notes 0 spells per day, this means the Planar Exarch can only cast spells of that level if they have bonus spells of that level. The Planar Exarch receive bonus spells per day if they have a high Charisma score. When a Planar Exarch prepares a spell in a spell slot, it must come from their Planar Domain.

Planar Exarchs meditate for their spells. Each Planar Exarch must choose a time at which he must spend 1 hour each day in quiet contemplation of their chosen Outer Plane or the corresponding alignment to regain his daily allotment of spells. Time spent resting has no effect on whether a Planar Exarch can prepare spells. A Planar Exarch may prepare and cast any spell in their Planar Domain, provided that they can cast spells of that level, but they must choose which spells to prepare during their daily meditation.

Smite Opposition (Su): At 1st level, once per enclounter, a Planar Exarch may attempt to smite a creature with at least one opposing alignment component with one normal melee attack. They add their Charisma bonus (if any) to their attack roll and deal 3 extra points of damage per Planar Exarch level. If the Planar Exarch accidentally smites a creature that is not opposed to their alignment, the smite has no effect but the ability is not used up for that day. At 2nd level, and at every two levels thereafter, the Planar Exarch may smite their opposition one additional time per encounter to a maximum of five times per encounter at 10th level.

Aura: A Planar Exarch has an aura as a cleric of their class level.

Weapon of the Planes (Su): At 2nd level, the Planar Exarch can summon a weapon shaped from their plane to strike down their opponent. This weapon is summoned to the Exarch's hand, the weapon is made of ordinary materials as appropriate for its kind, and if the Planar Exarch relinquishes their grip on the weapon they called for 2 or more consecutive rounds, it automatically returns to wherever it originated. Weapons gained by this power are distinctive due to their glimmering hue. They are considered magic weapons and thus are effective against damage reduction that requires a magic weapon to overcome. A Planar Exarch is automatically proficient with the weapon it summons.
The weapon gains an enhancement bonus equal to 1/2 the Planar Exarch's class levels, and is a specific weapon with a specific ability, depending on the chosen plane:

The Abyss: Vicious Heavy Flail
Arborea: Thundering Greatsword
Baator: Cruel* Whip
Celestia: Merciful Warhammer
Elysium: Holy Spiked Gauntlet
Hades: Unholy Scythe
Limbo: Anarchic Fluxweapon**
Mechanus: Axiomatic Longsword
The Outlands: Parrying Quarterstaff
*(At the Planar Exarch's option, the whip deals lethal damage)
**(The Planar Exarch may choose any simple or martial weapon each time it uses this ability, but cannot choose the same weapon consecutively).

The weapon is summoned or dismissed as a standard action.

Turn/Rebuke Aligned Creatures (Su): At 2nd level onwards, the Planar Exarch may turn or destroy creatures with opposing alignments as a good cleric turns undead. They may also Rebuke, command, or bolster creatures with the same alignment as an evil cleric rebukes undead. They may use this abilities a total number of times per day equal to 3 + their Charisma modifier.

Plane Shift (Sp): A Planar Exarch of 4th level may use Plane Shift as an SLA twice per day, but only to and from their chosen Outer Plane. At 6th and 8th level, the Planar Exarch gains two more uses per day of this SLA.

Planar Adaptation (Su): At 5th level, the Planar Exarch becomes immune to any negative effect of their chosen plane, such as Elysium's Entrapping trait, or Limbo's Wild Magic trait.

Damage Reduction: At 6th level, the Planar Exarch gains DR 10, which is increased to DR 20 at 8th level. This DR can be bypassed with weapons that are oppositely aligned to the Planar Exarch, with Adamantine opposing the neutral alignment component.

Share Planar Adaptation (Su): At 7th level, all of the allies within 60ft of the Planar Exarch share the Planar Exarch's Planar Adaptation class ability.

Gate (Sp): At 9th level 1/day, the Planar Exarch may use Gate as an SLA with a Caster Level equal to its Character Level, but only to travel/summon creatures from its chosen Outer Plane.

Planar Apotheosis (Ex): At 10th level, the Planar Exarch transforms into a true representative of their plane. The Planar Exarch's type changes to Outsider, and they gain the Alignment subtypes corresponding to their chosen Outer Plane. The Planar Exarch may still be treated as their former type if beneficial, and can be Raised and Ressurected normally.
