I was wondering how evasive reflexes (ToB) works while being mounted. Can you take the 5 foot step on your mount?

Evasive Reflexes works like every other feat that doesn't include explicit inclusion of a mount in its benefit: it applies just to you. If you take a 5' step you're off the mount. If you want Evasive Reflexes to apply to your mount, it needs to have the feat.

I agree with Curmudgeon.

Mounted combat in general is a very strong option; increased mobility, damage output, another target to absorb attacks, etc. But feats and other abilities which give "you" special options do not apply to your mount unless it explicitly says so, which means that options like Evasive Reflexes or Sidestep are counter productive. It's also worth mentioning that mounted characters are very susceptible to Bull Rush attempts, or other non-voluntary movement.
