True Domination and Monstrous Thrall?

So...I was looking at these spells (Spell Compendium), and I'm confused. I don't really think this is a RAW problem, so I posted it in its own thread. But, the main benefit behind true domination and monstrous thrall is (besides not being dispelled by protection from x), that they are supposed to be permanent, right?

So then why is the duration of these spells 24 hrs/level? What happens at the end of that duration? Has this been errata'd?

Doesn't seem to be mentioned in the errata. I'd say it's an oversight and the duration should be "Permanent."

Monstrous Thrall (as mentioned in the Draconomicon, Domination Domain 9) is a permanent spell, so it is likely a mistake on the editor's part.
