Do you picture the characters as real people?

I'm just curious here: how many readers of OOTS picture the characters as real people in their heads while reading the strip? I've never really done so, but reading things on here like the number of people grossed out by Redcloak's Implosions - which, as drawn, are just a bunch of scribbles - makes me get the impression that a lot of people do. So, show of hands?

I generally see them as stick figures, but I did end up picturing what an implosion would do to a real person. It's gross if you think about it too hard.

I never picture them as anything other than the way they are drawn (unless I happen to see them drawn in another way). That said I still imagine the unpleasant things that happen to them and am affected by those things. Just not grossed out by the sight of it.
