So I've got a unique situation with a potential wild cohort (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20031118a) + urban companion (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20070228a) combo.

Wouldn't have enough levels in ranger or druid to get speak with others, though, not even with natural bond, so I was wondering what items there might be that would allow me to let him speak with other party members.

Probably. I knew there was something, especially because of druids, but couldn't for the life of me recall the options/sources.

No problem; druid in my campaign uses one (those wacky druids :smallwink:), that's how I know of it.
