So I'm not up on the lingo. Sue me.

I keep getting confused, what do "TPBM" and "TPAM" stand for? Is it "The Person Below Me" and "The Person Above Me", or "The Person Before Me" and "The Person After Me"? I could swear I've seen it used both ways.

I'm pretty sure the first set is the correct one.
At least, it's the only way I've ever seen them used.

I've only seen TPBM in the "The person below me" threads and TPAM in "the person above me", so that's how I've been using them.
You'll be hearing from my lawyer. :smalltongue:

I have also seen AP (above poster), BP (below poster), OP (original poster).

I think it varies from board to board but, there is all kinds of lingo and abbreviations out there.

Then you have not been playing enough Silly Message Board Games, fraulein.

I believe the acronyms are endemic to this forum. I've only seen them here.
