So im trying to find a prestige class to try and aspire to in the campaign im currently in. I am a dwarf wizard, specializing in transmutation. We are only level 1 right now, but we will level fast. Any good suggestions?

Master Specialist, from Complete Mage. You can qualify for it by level 3, if you play your cards right (that is, get Spell Focus (Transmutation) and the appropriate skill ranks).

Master Transmuter (as opposed to Conjurer or Abjurer, for instance) doesn't give you much, but it probably gives you more than straight wizard. I'd stick out Wizard until level 5 for Spontaneous Divination (alternate class feature from Complete Champion) at least. How about 1 level of Mindbender (CA) for Mindsight (LoM) into Mage of the Arcane Order (CA)? This bumps your utility through the roof via scouting and the "I have that spell!" effect without making you an annoyingly powerful combat monster.

If you have heard of the term "optimization level" and how to handle such things responsibly, you might want to look at Incantatrix (Player's Guide to Faerūn).

If you haven't, you should probably forget that, and take a stroll through the Complete Arcane. How do Mage of the Arcane Order, Fatespinner (beware of that last level) and/or Geometer sound to you?

For some slightly costly Dwarven Awesomeness, you can check out Runesmith from Races of Stone.

Is that the one that (basically) removes somatic components from your spellcasting? +1 if so, I played a dwarven transmuter for, maybe, a year and a half and that PrC is awesome, in my book! :)

Transmutation is mostly about buffs, and nothing is better for buffing your party than the War Weaver in Heroes of Battle. It's only 4/5 spellcasting, missing the first level, but the number of spell slots it saves you is going to be worth it. A single Bull's Strength or Protection from Evil can hit everyone in your party, despite its normal single-target limit. You can also set up buffs ahead of time to all be released at once as a move-action, so on your first round you can cast an offensive spell or a more situation-specific buff (Protection from Energy).

You should also consider the feat Ability Enhancer from Dragon Compendium, which makes any attribute-enhancing spell you cast grant an additional +2. Your Bull's Strength line of spells will give +6 instead of +4, or the spell Animalistic Power from PH2 which normally gives +2 Str, Dex, and Con will instead grant +4 to each of those three stats for just one spell.
