Hey playgrounders,

I'm running a v3.5 campaign for 6x5th level characters at the moment. Before they get much further with the plot I want them to have a big dungeon hack adventure. Can anyone recommend a good pre-made adventure for this level party, it needs to be a decent size so that they'll go up a few levels doing it.

Red Hand of Doom is easily tweaked to be a straight hack and slash if desired.

'The vault of Larin-Karr' is nice too.

Red hand of doom. primarily hack and slash, easily configurable for a party of 6.

But I would like to suggest my all time favorite set of hack and slash adventures. G1-G3, against the giants.

G1 is against hill giants, something that 6 5th level characters should be able to handle. You can download the maps from here:

G1 - stedding of the hill giant chief (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mw/20060523a)

G2 - Glacial Rift of the frost giant Jarl (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mw/20060627a)

G3 - hall of the fire giant king (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mw/20060711a)

and updated 3.5 text can be found here:

3.5 module text (http://www.enworld.org/forum/conversions/245278-attempt-rebuild-conversion-library-please-upload-conversions-3-5-here.html)

You can modify it down a little bit, by reducing the giants hps a little, since 3.5 hill giants have a lot more hps(37 vs 100), but overall it shouldn't be too bad as long as the party isn't stupid and tries a frontal assault. Hill giants aren't that smart.

And at the end of the adventure, there are some materials that lead to G2 - against the frost giants, but you can have it lead elsewhere.

These all seem great suggestions from having had a very quick read up about them, thanks. I'll certainly consider putting these to use.
I was also wondering if anyone has any ideas of an adventure that I could use as a thieves lair? - i.e. lots of traps and puzzles but also with a decent amount of fighting (one of my players is a barbarian and gets bored quite easily if he can't smack something!)

There are a lot of maps available here:
Map-a-Week (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mwa/archiveall)

you would have to populate them all yourself, but there are several underground crypt like maps/caverns. Throw in some undead, some traps and a BBEG at the end and you are all set.

Aren't Fane of the Drow and Barrow of the Forgotten King both in that realm? Maybe a little short though.
