I've got several movies and episodes from TV shows I'd like to transfer onto my Ipod touch. However, I'm not sure how to do this. I don't have these in my itunes library, and am unsure how I would get the features off the DVDs anyway. If anybody has any ideas, they'd be more than welcome.

Also, if anybody knows of a good way to convert videos to the proper format, that would also be greatly appreciated.

I'm unsure what other information you might need.

Adding them to your iTunes library is usually a matter of dragging them onto an open iTunes window.

Also, what format are they in? And what operating system are you running?

Windows 7 is my OS and a few videos in particular are .FLV files.

I used a video converter. I find these work best, and it also can be used to preserve scenes, so you can go forward or back in scenes like with a DVD.

If you run the videos through an itunes video converter, should come out in iTunes and then it is simply a matter of synching it.
