Do you have a single all-time favorite panel from the strip? To kick it off, I have to say mine is Strip 385 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0385.html), bottom row, panel 3. There's just something that truly makes me LOL whenever I see it.

Strip 443 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0443.html) panel 1.

*Darth V's first panel
*The recent scene of the dead Draketooths
*The hobgoblins breaking through the breach in Azure city
*The Sapphire guard lying dead behind Xykon
*All of the story-arc-ending panels, especially Xykon on the undead dragon... with the huge hobgoblin army behind him

There are countless more great panels, but it is too hard to choose a definite favourite.

In order, they are 635 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0635.html), 841 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0841.html), 452 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0452.html), 448 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0448.html), and 300 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0300.html). (And the sexy shoeless god of war is 439 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0439.html).)

When Haley shoots the Red and Green guy outside the Oracle's place to see which one is lying. Their reaction is hilarious, and their facial expressions really sell it as much as facial expressions can in Rich's art. 327 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0327.html)

Oh Gods! She shot me! You crazy bitch, I can't believe you shot me!
She absolutely did not shoot you and I totally expected it!

843 panel 8, V loses all his/her arrogance and is cowed by the monster he/she became. That panel turned me around on V, didn't like V all that much until I saw the real pain, sorrow and shame as V was left crumpled on the floor.

Also 84 last panel, that whole comic just kills me, but Durkon crying was a nice finish.

The last panel of strip 659 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0659.html). After all that power, it's the simple spell cast intelligently that does the trick.

I saw this thread, ignored it, continued my archive binge, and then saw the eight panel of this strip (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0659.html). Crowning moment of O'Chul... so awesome, he inconvenienced Xykon. Now that doesn't happen every day .

(Also, I see this strip (although not the panel) has already been linked to :smallcool:. I keep on forgetting how awesome this story arc is).

430, Panel 1 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0430.html)

Really, the Battle for Azure City has a whole crap-ton of awesome panels.

Panel 1 of 463 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0463.html) is worth mentioning too.

Last panel. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0163.html)
Honestly my life will be complete if, when I am facing death, I can manage to say something that cool. [even a direct quote, for the irony of me not having any spellcasting powers :)]

Last panel (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0428.html) :haley: 'Do you see anything?'

Panel 7 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0665.html) :elan: 'You're Invisible!'

They'd probably be different if I answered tomorrow, but...

For emotional impact: Next to last panel (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0464.html)

For humor: Next to last panel (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0398.html)

I'm a huge fan of genre-savvy characters, particularly villains.

While I'm sure I'd pick different favorite panels if I thought about it for a while, my gut reaction is to pick either the fourth-to-last or very last panel here. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0763.html)

Can't find the comic.

Probably my second favourite. My favourite is Comic 613 panel 3 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0613.html)

Although Comic 610 last panel (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0610.html) (although that entire strip rocked out loud)

Maybe Belkar's chaotic evil nature just makes his heroism all the more incredible

Also, Panel 17 of this comic (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0387.html), entirely for the "And then they punched a clown"

I'll probably have a different opinion tomorrow, but right now? Panel 4. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0611.html) I still don't even like Belkar that much, but that scene was awesome.

I prefer panel 9 of that strip. But I'm not sure which one's my favourite yet.

Darth V first panel on #635 is the best one by far. It screams: "Awesomeness incoming"

Largest panel here. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0825.html) There's regular villainy, and then there's villainy so sudden and shocking that it demands you silent respect. This is one such instance.

On a less gruesome note, I quite like the searching panels (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0823.html) from a few strips before that.

3rd panel of 452 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0452.html). That was the moment when I truly realised what these apparently simple stick figures could be used for.

Shame on everyone for not mentioning 808 already. Pretty much anything in the bottom three rows. And maybe one or two from the other rows. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0808.html)
