Feel free to describe your characters here... I will post what I say in BOLD. Please pick your color.

Calling green

Bourbon Shimazu appears to be a frail looking old man, with balding white hair and a short white beard. Despite the old appearance, he appears to be perfectly fit and in very good health. Across his face is a distinctive scar that was caused by a grazing ranged weapon. He is adorned in a plain chain shirt, and tan clothes of commoner. Over the armor he wears a vest. He wears a small hat, much like a tan navy hat, to cover his baldness. He carries a spear and a buckler, but also has a few javelin's and a morningstar on his back.

Choosing Lime.
John, for all extensive purposes, is completely non-descript. No holy symbol, no armor and no weapons, only snug fitted linen clothing in dark gray. His hair is a long brown mane that is pulled into a pony tail at the base of his skull and his eyes are a piercing clear blue. He is of average height and athletic build and in his young twenties. All of John's belongings are kept in a simple leather backpack that is slung over his shoulder.

Color: DarkOliveGreen to match my plant thing.

Braizier wears a dirty moss covered armor made of only padding. At first it looks like he straps it on normaly, but the straps are actually roots instead. He is mostly bald except for the beard, the black beard as dark as the night. His eyes match his beard, though they sparkle in the light.
He has a backpack strapped on, but barely full. He is of average Dwarf height and wieght. He has a bow, a sap, and a great axe strapped to his back for danger.
Notable is when he walks you could swear the plants on his armor move.

Calling Gray

Garel is a platinum skinned dragonborn whose height indicates a former life as a human or an elf. He is hairless with gold eyes and clean scales. His clothes are white and of fine cloth, but a simple cut and unadorned. When expecting battle he wears a chain shirt and carries a shield. He alternates between a morningstar and a longsword. He also carries a longbow and a dagger.

Purple is good for me

Vaarth, a half elf warrior, stands leaning against his sword with a stoop. His weary gaze speaks of many skirmishes, and a few, long battles. This can be seen in his armor as well, the leather is cut in a few places and stained with blood in more locations. His attitude shows no fear but for fear itself.

Hmm, Choosing Indigo

Clothed in an assortment of vests and cloaks looking like they could have belonged to Jack Sparrow. Daerius stands an impossing 3'6". Sheathed to his back are to curved knives (Kukri) and a crossbow hangs from his belt. His most striking features are his violet eyes, combined with white hair. He looks extremely quick, and his eyes casually drift, taking in everything.

So, I guess I should start this game up...

You all awake to a blinding light... after a few moments you realise you are at the west side of a massive arena (the main arena). Someone says Ah... the fresh meat is awake.. The person comes into view... You have all been separated into 2 groups as you can see by the bracelets on your arms... (the bracelets don't take up a slot) he continues Now, to make sure your all combat ready... we shall pit you against each other... don't worry, we can heal you back to near perfect health after the fight, we just want to see which group might last longer. Please... Roll for Initiative...

The 2 groups are 30 feet apart... this arena is square, it measures 180 feet from side to side... it is floored with fairly compact dirt, there is blood stains everywhere...

I'd give you a map but, that's a fair bit of work for me... and I'm currently DMing 3 other games also so...

You know the Init order... FIGHT!

Which direction you would go. You are in R21.
If you go to Q21, you step away from brazier and you right next to bourbon, directly between him and colt.

If you go to Q20 or R20, you are adjacent to Colt.

If you go to S20, you are adjacent to no one but have moved closer to Garel, who will likely charge.

This needs to be answered, and depending on what you say, John may need to move to a different square.

In fact, the instructor walks into the middle of the fighting and says Ha ha... you all are an interesting group. That is enough fighting for today. If you will carry your dead, I shall show you to your rooms, you'll need your rest for tomorrow... we've quite the group for you all to fight.

To good for the shortspear? he looks a little annoyed. He then quickly puts the shortspear back and takes a longspear out, again looking to make sure no one is watching. He is willing to lower the prices. I'm just giving the base value of the items. As for Longspears and Scrolls... I have plenty of spears but, not very many Scrolls... meaning they might cost a bit more than usual. he grabs a normal Make Longspear out and all of the Scrolls he has (between 10 and 20). Don't be so hasty to focus on long term cash. A few cheaper things that have a long term use would still be a good idea. I could use a well made buckler, and I'm sure we could get a lot of use out of an amber amulet of vermin, and a set of arcanist's gloves might be useful for you.
Amber Amulet of Vermin (Scorpion) 700 gp: extra tank to take hits so we don't [Huge Scorpion for 10 rounds 1/day]
Arcanist's Gloves 500 gp: CL boost for those orbs [+2 CL twice, 1st level only spells]
MW buckler 165 gp: +1 ac for me, that goes up later, while still allowing me to threaten with my slam.
Total spent: 1365 gp, for a cost efficent boost to offense and defense, with room for other item people might want at this stage.

7 hp, +16 for fast healing. so 23 hp.
accounting for it's cold vulnerability, CMT just did 34 damage.
putting it at -11 hp. If it gets up, someone is manipulating the arena match. (Unless that's just the missile knocking it down and it getting up)

I think what he was getting as is this: Did it fast heal as a free action, or did you fall down and do that on its turn, thus granting vaarth, John, and colt attacks while it lies there unconscious for a moment?

Either way, John is up. And gets a AoO when it stands up.

None. And yes, John is up.

You here a dull hum coming from the stands... then a barely visible barrier comes into existence in front of the audience...

A door then opens on the north end of the arena as a flash of White goes from the doorway and up to the ceiling... where you can see a Large White Dragon that looks like it is probably at least a Juvenile.

((It spent its turn flying to the ceiling and then holding on to it... also, the ceiling is 60ft high in the center, where the Dragon is.))

The map (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AoNhAVlr5CymdDgyckh5VzlsR0plN0xUMjA1NEFDM Xc#gid=0)has been updated. I had the dragon get as close to us as possible (assuming it has a fly speed of 200 ft), obviously keeping in mind its 60 ft above us.

Also worth noting, if you are standing directly below it, you are 45ft away from it. Because the ceiling is 60ft up. It' takes up 10 ft, and you take up 5ft. Still too far away for my Orb.

Since we all go before it, rather than wait on Jojo, I propose we all go if we can.

Bourbon casts magic missile. Two strikes of force shoot forth into the dragons thick hide.

Prone

The character is on the ground. An attacker who is prone has a -4 penalty on melee attack rolls and cannot use a ranged weapon (except for a crossbow). A defender who is prone gains a +4 bonus to Armor Class against ranged attacks, but takes a -4 penalty to AC against melee attacks.

Standing up is a move-equivalent action that provokes an attack of opportunity.

For future reference

Back on your feet [Movement]
You can hop back on your feet instantly if you fall
Prerequisite: Tumble 12 Ranks
Benefit: If you fall prone for any reason, you can stand back up as a immediate action without provoking attacks of opportunity.
