[3.5] How many bonus feats can you get?

Curious how many you can get. Note that the feat must explicitly be given, not the character "considered to" have it, gain the benifits of, or have an ability that is equal to it. Unless it allows replacing it with another feat if you alreddy have it, identical bonus feats don't count.

Fighter 2/Monk 2/Wizard 1/Feat Rogue 2/Ranger 1 are the obvious (though are they the best?) first 8 levels, each getting 1 feat for 1 level (except Monk 1, which gets IUS as a bonus)

Cloistered Cleric 1 gives at least 3, possibly 4 or 5 feats (does the War Domain grant profiency via Feat or not? Any other domain with 2 feats?) if you sub Know domain for Know Devotion.


Where do you go after that?

Hard Mode: Make the character reasonably playable

Be human, take Sacred Vow and Vow of Poverty as your first two feats, get Fighter feat progression (Exalted feats only).

Marshal 1 gets Skill Focus (Diplomacy) at level 1, but if you already took Skill Focus (Diplomacy), you get a bonus feat of any type.

Yayness! A use for VoP!

Noticed Bear Totem Barbarian is 3 (toughness, improved grapple, great fortitude) more (thankfully ex-Monk retains all abilities but can't progress, and ex-barbarian's lose Rage, pointless for this exercise)

Of course, the problem with Exalted feats is that the only use for them past, say, 3-4 of them, is to Dark Chaos Shuffle them into something actually useful.

Two levels of Psychic Warrior will get you another two bonus feats.

400 of those come from Weapons of Legacy. 104 feats is, however, still an impressive :smallcool: feat.
