Did the Diablo 2: to hell and back/Diablo 2: Diablerie get an update for 3.5?

No, it didn't. By the time 3.5 came out, Diablo II didn't draw interest anymore, and it never had as vocal supporters as the 2e campaign settings, some of which got 3.5 support in Dragon.

I'd love to know too - I only recently rediscovered these in an old cupboard
Considering rehashing the treasure tables to 3.5/PF myself, because I thought they were awesome lol

They might have done more with it, but every time they wrote a Diablo article that really killed, a pile of gold fell on their heads. Eventually the headaches got to them. :smalltongue:

There isn't much updated content for the Diablerie.

But I'm not very surprised. The rules are based on early 3.0, and at times look as if the writers didn't really understand the material they were working with. One wouldn't be updating the book as much as rewriting the whole thing.

Fortunately, it's not very difficult to just run a D2 campaign using 3.5 rules. I've been doing it via PbP for almost two years now. The players are level 9 now, and just killed a mountain troll yeti in the Outer Cloister. :smalltongue:
