Priests of Nerull follow their dark god's whims. Those devoted enough to their god's cause become true servants of Nerull and gain access to true power. These clerics have extremely powerful control over undead and are rarely seen without a small army accompanying them. Many paladins and clerics have attempt to destroy these true servants and have instead joined them as undead servants.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Sinister Servant of Nerull.

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: Sinister Servant of Nerull is proficient in all simple and martial weapons and all forms of armor and shields.

Spells Per Day/ Spells Known: At every level of Sinister Servant of Nerull except first the character gains new spells per day as if she had also gained a level in divine spellcasting class she belonged to before she entered the prestige class. She does not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that she adds the level of Sinister Servant of Nerull to the level of whatever other spellcasting class the character has, then determines spells per day and caster level accordingly.

If a character had more than one spellcasting class before she became a Sinister Servant of Nerull, she must decide to which class she adds each level of Sinister Servant of Nerull for the purpose of determining spells per day.

Sinisterness: Whenever the Sinister Servant of Nerull casts a spell that creates or animates undead the spell is cast at + 1 caster level. In addition whenever an enemy attempts to turn or rebuke undead created by the Sinister Servant of Nerull they are treated as if they have turn resistance + 2.

Rebuke Undead: A Sinister Servant of Nerull adds his Sinister Servant Levels to his cleric levels for all rebuking purposes.

Improved Rebuking: Now a Sinister Servant of Nerull can command an additional amount of HD with his rebuke undead class feature equal to his charisma modifier (This extra HD is doubled by his shadow domain ability).

Profane Corruption: (Sp) Once per day per charisma modifier the Sinister Servant can use the spell contagion as a spell like ability.

Empowered Pain: (Ex) Whenever a Sinister Servant of Nerull of second level casts an inflict wounds spell that spell is treated as if empowered.

Aura of Fatigue: (Su) Starting at third level all enemies within 10ft of the Servant take a -2 penalty on will saves.

Bonus Domain: At 5th level a Servant gains access to a new domain. He may select either the Fear, Evil, Undeath, or Deathbound domain.

Maximize Pain: (Ex) Whenever a Sinister Servant of Nerull of sixth level casts an inflict wounds spell that spell is treated as if maximized. This ability replaces Empowered Pain.

Negative Energy Burst: (Su) As a standard action a Servant of Nerull who is at least 8th level can create a negative energy burst that deals 1d6 points of negative energy damage to all enemy living creatures within 100 feet of the character. Living creatures are allowed a reflex save for half damage (DC equal to 10 + class levels of the Servant). This ability uses up two turning attempts. The Servant of Nerull can't use this ability unless he has at least two turning attempts left for the day.

Supreme Pain: (Ex) Whenever the Sinister Servant of Nerull of 10th level casts an inflict wounds spell that spell is treated as if empowered and maximized. This ability replaces Maximize and Empowered Pain.

Shadow Domain:

Granted Power: You can now control twice as many undead with rebuke undead as you normally could
1: Chill Touch
2: Chill Metal
3: Ray of Exhaustion
4: Armor of Darkness
5: Crawling Darkness
6: Summon Shadow (As Summon Monster VI but can only summon one greater shadow)
7: Necrotic Curse
8: Blackfire
9: Energy Drain

Some minor grammar comments and then actual issues.

Ability to 1st level spells and access to the Shadow Domain.

"to cast"

Must worship Nerull of another evil deity of death if Nerull does not exist in the setting.

"or another"

In addition whenever an enemy attempts to turn or rebuke undead created by the Sinister Servant of Nerull they are treated as if have turn resistance + 2.

"as if they have"

Now, substance:

They should probably have a choice if they want to actually use the empowered pain and maximize pain abilities rather than make them automatic. For example, if they already know the maximize feat, they might want to only empower the spell and use the maximize feat itself. Or they may want to disguise what they are but not having their inflict spells be obviously stronger. And there are some special metamagic and class effects that only work on spells not modified by other metamagics, which this ability will prevent them from using.

Overall, this seems like a bit of a power boost. You are giving Nerull a new domain, and it isn't clear why a cleric wouldn't take this PrC in almost any circumstance. The requirements are easy, it advances rebuking, and it has lots of nice goodies. If one is a cleric of Nerull one is almost certainly going to be animating dead already. Maybe they should lose a caster level at 1?

It's the evil version of Radiant Servant of Pelor, a cleric PrC from Complete Divine with lots of benefits and no drawbacks, so it should be powerful.

Oh, I see. Yeah, in that context it makes sense.

but, the radient servant is a heal bot, no one cares if you add power to a heal bot. this is a minion master, not sure the same rule applies. though I'm not sure I would do this with cleric for a necromancer instead of going pure dread necromancer... free healing vs. powerful full cleric casting...

Thats not exactly a fair comparison, cleric casting is better than dread necromancer 9/10 times anyway regardless of this class.

Also I disagree that the Radiant Servant of Pelor is a "Heal bot". The only heal bonuses it gets are if it prepares the spell in the domain slot (so 1/day) and its only for cure spells anyway. Its main ability is the bonus domain and more greater turning attempts. Maximized and Supreme Pain are not that threatening as the inflict lines of spells really do not deal enough damage to be considered worth while investments normally.

ah better point: radient servant works on 1/10th foes
sinister servant works on 9/10th foes...

some difference there?
additionally, better minionmancy vs. niche monster slaughter
just saying...

After playing in a group that had a lot of rebuke undead I realized how overpowered the original shadow domain ability was and adjusted it appropriately, now it allows additional minions instead of its original ability
