Playing PbP on another forum, I've got a lesser aasimar druid with a vow of poverty. (No, let's not make this a conversation about the merits of VOP - or lack thereof.) I've also consistently been using the Irish language in posts to represent Druidic.

So, i eventually chose this as my signature file:

Féach ar na riachtanais arbh fhéidir
Na riachtanais lom simplí
Déan dearmad faoi do imní agus do achrann
Ciallaíonn mé na riachtanais arbh fhéidir
Máthair Sean nádúr ar oidis
Sin a thabhairt ar na riachtanais arbh fhéidir an tsaoil

Google translator, bless its addition of Irish, still has a hard time with some words, so suffice it to say that the Irish quote is a rough translation of this:

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature's recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life

A song by a bear about relying on mother nature rather than material possessions...can you get more appropriate a chorus than that for a VOP druid? (nevermind that she never turns into a bear.)

Love it.

I am very glad I wasn't drinking when I read that.

oh my.... that takes me back to my childhood.

but it's a very appropriate (as well as jolly) song for your character.

a bit difficult for me to try and sing it in Irish, but still. :smallwink:

King Louie's song in Celtic would be more optimized.

Niiiiiiiice.

...Next, you make an arcane hierophant, with a 18 INT. Smarter than the av-er-age bear!

Damn you. Even when I typed the original post, I diligently avoided thinking of King Louie's song, because every time I do it gets stuck in my head for days. Now it will happen again and it's your fault.

Ba doo be doo doo doo doo da da. Be da da da da doo.
