I'm quite new to Pathfinder and will be playing a wizard for the first time. I've carefully read the core rulebook, but am not confident in my rules knowledge, so I apologize for asking such a basic question.

I am a 1st level elven Wizard, with a 20 (18 +2 racial bonus) INT. If I choose a bonded object instead of a familiar, and specialize in conjuration (for example), do I have 5 0th and 5 1st level spell slots? My math:

base: 3 0th, 1 1st
int bonus: +2 1st
bonded objecct: +1 0th, +1 1st
school: +1 0th, +1 1st

This seems odd to me, because it means I actually have 1 more 1st level slot than a Sorcerer with a 20 CHA. (Discounting bloodlines, which I haven't researched.)

I was unable to search the whole Pathfinder Q&A thread (the website kept giving errors), so I apologize additionally if this has already been answered there.

You get:

3 cantrips (0-level spells): You don't get a bonus from Int or specializing here.
4 1st level spells: 1 base + 2 bonus spells from Int + 1 specialization
1/day - Cast any spell from your spellbook: Bonded item doesn't give you bonus spell slots, just a 1/day ability

Thanks! I guess I misread the sentence "In addition, specialist wizards receive an additional spell slot of each spell level he can cast, from 1st on up."

And I inaccurately called the 1/day bonded object power a "slot." I realize it doesn't require memorization like a true spell slot, but still contributes the sake of computing "how many spells a day can I cast" (And the fact that it gives this power only 1/day, not 1/day for each spell level.)
