So I'm preparing a mini 3.5 campaign, and think I will use this to finally get a chance to run some of the crazy stuff through the joy of hopping through Planes Of Existence (via a heavily enchanted watercraft captained by a semi undead drunken dwarven pirate).
I've never done this before, so I was hoping for some pointers.
What's worked well for you in the past and what failed horribly, as a DM or player? What Planar 'gimmicks' have stuck in your mind?
