Just wanted to write up an expanded list of options for the spellcaster, expert and warrior classes. Tell me what you think!

Smite Good (Su): As the paladin's Smite Evil ability, but affecting creatures of the good alignment only. Once per day, plus one additional daily use per five character levels. This ability stacks with Smite Law or Smite Chaos if you use it on a lawful good/chaotic good creature. Prerequisite: Evil alignment.

Smite Law (Su): As the paladin's Smite Evil ability, but affecting creatures of the lawful alignment only. Once per day, plus one additional daily use per five character levels. This ability stacks with Smite Good or Smite Evil if you use it on a lawful good/lawful evil creature. Prerequisite: Chaotic alignment.

Smite Chaos (Su): As the paladin's Smite Evil ability, but affecting creatures of the chaotic alignment only. Once per day, plus one additional daily use per five character levels. This ability stacks with Smite Good or Smite Evil if you use it on a chaotic good/chaotic evil creature. Prerequisite: Lawful alignment.

Unarmed Strike (Ex): As the monk ability. Prerequisite: Proficiency with unarmed strikes.

Flurry of Blows (Ex): As the monk ability, including the improvements at 5th and 9th level. Prerequisite: Unarmed Strike, BAB +2.

You an probably nix the "Must cast Divine Spells" on the Animal Companion, and just leave Wild Empathy as the prerequisite. Why should casters get all the fun toys, especially with generic classes.

It may be fun to add on some Bardic Music type abilities, too. Maybe use Inspire Courage as the first level of the chain, and use it as the Pre-requisite for the other.

Alright.

Bardic music is specifically listed by WotC as one of the class features that is too specialized for a generic class to learn.

Bardic music is specifically listed by WotC as one of the class features that is too specialized for a generic class to learn.

WotC also specifically lists the wizard's familiar as too specialized. It clearly isn't, since it's on the list of available class features. (Granted, that's most likely editorial oversight.)

Well, if you won't do it, then I will.

Inspire Courage (Su)
As the bard ability, except it only grants a +1 bonus, once per day per character level. Prerequisite: Perform 4 ranks.

Improved Inspire Courage (Su)
Your inspire courage ability grants a +2 bonus. Prerequisites: Perform 11 ranks, inspire courage.

Greater Inspire Courage (Su)
Your inspire courage ability grants a +3 bonus. Prerequisites: Perform 18 ranks, inspire courage, improved inspire courage.

Inspire Competence (Su)
As the bard ability. Expends one use of inspire courage. Prerequisites: Perform 4 ranks, inspire courage.

Inspire Heroics (Su)
As the bard ability. Expends one use of inspire courage. Prerequisites: Perform 18 ranks, inspire courage, improved inspire courage.

Inspire greatness, fascinate, and (mass) suggestion are admittedly too complex (i.e. specialized) for generic classes, but "inspire X bonus" seems simple enough.

Alright, yeah, those seem pretty fine.

What other abilities should these guys get? Maybe Test of Mettle, as the knight (PHB II)?

You probably want 'As the paladin's Smite Evil ability' here.

Is Sneak Attack one of the abilities that works with this concept?

Sneak Attack was in the WotC's original classes, yeah. The list is pretty comprehensive, covering most of the base classes, save the monk.
