Prestige Classes

In this thread will reside every user-submitted presige class designed by the Playground. When submitting your classes, please do so in the approved format, with no extraneous detail. Doing otherwise will result in a thread that is hard to navigate.

Entries should look like this:

[Tag] Class Name (http://google.com): A one-line explanation of the class.

There is one change compared with the Base Class thread. Please prefix your tag with an additional tag denoting how many levels long your prestige class is.

For instance:
[10][Ftr] Jim's Fighter Prestige (not a real link): A 10-level fighter prestige class that's focused on defense and protecting his allies.

That's it. Please provide nothing else and try to limit your explanation to one line. Please try to consolidate all of your homebrews into one post if you come back later to add more.

*Note: Please disable your signature when posting to this thread. To do so, uncheck the "show your signature" box under additional options when posting (or editing).*

A list of approved tags below. These will serve to help people search the thread more easily for the type of class that they are looking for.

Again, please prefix with a [#] tag.

Melee Tags
[Ftr] = classes that count as Fighter levels specifically and advance [Fighter] feats
[Martial] = initiators
[Gish] = having a spell list, but does not attain 9th level spells (Ranger, Bard, Paladin--i.e. capable of only 4th level spells)

If one of the above doesn't apply, try using one of these.
(Do not use both BAB20 and Melee--they are mutually exclusive)
[BAB20] = classes that have full BAB, but are not Fighters or Initiators (Barbarian)
[Melee] = LESS THAN 20 BAB, but primarily melee (including archers) with only a couple of spells or supernaturals. These should not have "Caster Levels" (Monk)

Casting Tags--Do not use if you max out below 9th level spells
[FullArc] = classes that progress full arcane casting at every level (Wizard, Sorcerer)
[FullDiv] = classes that progress full divine casting at every level (Cleric, Druid)
[ArcCast] = arcane casters that have potential to cast 9th level spells, but do not progress caster level at every level (a lot of prestige classes will fit here)
[DivCast] = divine casters that have potential to cast 9th level spells,, but do not progress caster level at every level (a lot of prestige classes will fit here)

Other "Magics"
[Psion] = psionic
[Incar] = incarnum classes
[Invok] = invoking classes
[Bind] = binders

[Util] = primarily utility (Rogue)
[Craft] = crafting-focused (Artificers)
[Temp] = gain a template (usually as the capstone) of this PrC
[Other] = other (if you need to use this tag, it's probably best to request approval for a new one in the discussion thread)

If necessarily, you may tag your creation with multiple [Tags]. For instance, an Initiator that has Invocations would necessitate both tags in front of the class name. Otherwise, realize that some tags are unnecessary (for instance, a [Ftr] tag combined with a [BAB20] tag).

If you have a tag that you would like to be approved, please suggest it on the Discussion Thread. If you have questions about the classification, please ask on the Discussion Thread.

Happy 'brewing!

[10][Gish][Invok][Util] Eerie Traveler (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6387951&postcount=4): The twisted results of those travelers who walk deeper into the Far Realms and are fortunate...or unfortunate...enough to return. They gain a number of bizarre and alien supernatural abilities and corrupt the world around them with their mere presence. (GitP PrC Contest Winner)

[10][BrdMusic][Util] Empyreal Cantatrice (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6698933&postcount=4): Bards attuned to the music of the cosmos itself. Their abilities are widespread and utilitarian in nature, ranging from communing with nature to turning ethereal to rewriting the destiny of a creature. (GitP PrC Contest Winner)

[5][Craft] Madspark Eccentric (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127043): Barbarian/Artificers who enter heightened states of manic creativity, crafting bizarre magical items within seconds flat. They create and destroy items with ease and at a moment's notice, and their infusions and magic-item generated effects grow stronger as they "rage."

[10][BrdMusic][Util] Restless Troubadour (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6397014&postcount=1): Bards who have died and returned from death, bringing with them the haunting melodies of the beyond. To full of fervor to truly die, to close to death to truly live, they hover on the twilight edge of the great beyond, weaving life and death into the very songs they play.

[10][Bind] Seiškona of the Iron Bands (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7310889&postcount=5): These insidious binders track down faerie lords and bind them within iron bracers, using the essence of the enslaved creature to wield awesome powers that dominate the faerie realm and even reach into the mortal world. Dark sorcerers of inescapable oaths and magical domination, the effects they wield vary based on the victim them have imprisoned (some DM fiat and/or homebrew required for use). Probably a better NPC villain than a PC. Also, not to toot my own horn, but I have yet to meet someone who read this class and didn't like it. :smallbiggrin: (GitP PrC Contest Winner)

[10][DivCast] Sibyl of the Blinded Eye (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6120792&postcount=3): Clerical seers whose haunting predictions have become to much for them, and who now turn this terrible knowledge and fractured visions upon their hapless foes. Their sightless vision drives men mad, and they are all but immune to most mind-altering magicks. (GitP PrC Contest Winner)

[5][Util] Twilight's Guide (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=11820875&postcount=11): Shepherds for lost souls, the Twilight's Guide lives on the boundary of life and death, and his dark lantern serves as a beacon for the wandering spirits who are his wards, friends, and guardians. Trading guidance into the afterlife for stories and information, the Twilight's Guide brings something completely unique to a party, although he might be better served as an NPC.

[5][BaB20] Unfettered Knight (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7781093&postcount=32): The Paladin's Paladin. These knights are so pure, so devoted to fighting against evil in all its forms that their very spirit carries on the battle after they fall, rising to greater strength than ever the mortal form alone had. Further, upon reaching the pinnacle of this class, you will never die so long as a single person recalls your legacy and your goodness. (GitP PrC Contest Winner)

[10][ArcCast][BaB20][Mount] Warden of the Hedge (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7129821&postcount=5): Paladin/Sorcerers and Knights of Titania, these fey-blessed Paladins protect the borders of the Faerie Realm from the backs of beasts of the Feywilde. They and their mounts gain strange, fey-related abilities: the Warden becoming an ardent defender of the Faerie realm, able to traverse it at will, and the mount becoming a conglomerate beast of the faerie, with abilities and appearances that defy the natural order. (GitP PrC Contest Winner)

[10][FullArc][FullDiv] Undead Overseer: (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227207) This class focuses on reducing the total undead controlled in exchange for making them stronger. It makes necromancer minionmancers more practical in groups by allowing for transport of such creatures along with increasing their strength.

[10][ArcCast][DivCast] The Wyrmpriest (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=237866&highlight=Wyrmpriest): An arcane spellcaster who acts as a priest of dragonkind, worshiping powerful dragons in return for the gift of divine spellcasting.

[10][ArcCast] Monarch of the Damned (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=246930): An evil arcane necromancer who trades a portion of his spellcasting power for the ability to raise massive armies of the dead.

[5][ArcCast] Soulslave Sovereign (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=247020): A colab class with a friend who dose not want his name mentioned. The Soulslave Sovereign is an arcane Necromancer who masters a twisted ritual that rips souls from the afterlife and brings them to the material plane as a special kind of undead known as a "soulslave."
