So I found a way to arbitrarily cast persist on anything with no cost to me other that 6 ability points, my levels in Metaphysical Spellshaper, and the Sheltered Vitality spell.
I have the Spell Domain, so I have (Greater) Anyspell, as well as Limited Wish (remember, it's good up to level 6 arcane) available as Domain spells, as well as the standard Miracle.
I've already came up with Wraithstrike as one spell. What else do you think would be good for this?
