Are there any ways to increase a Monk's unarmed damage in Pathfinder, other than being bigger than the other guy? I remember there was some debate in 3.5 about whether unarmed strikes were natural attacks, or something along those lines was that settled?

It was settled by fiat in PF that monks unarmed attacks are not natural attacks of the purpose of the INA feat.

It was not settled in 3.5 as far as I know.

I think the advanced player's guide has some brass knuckles or something that can be enchanted as a weapon and also scale up with monk levels for base damage.

[Edit: To change the words on the page to match the thoughts in my head].

Browsing the pfsrd, Monk's Belt has been replaced with Monk's Robes but are otherwise identical.

According to the Paizo Reference Document on Monks (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/classes/monk.html#_monk)

A monk's unarmed strike is treated as both a manufactured weapon and a natural weapon for the purpose of spells and effects that enhance or improve either manufactured weapons or natural weapons.

Thus, anything buffs a natural or manufactured weapon, will affect a monk's fists.

Unless it is INA feat, Designers says it doesn't work with Monk.

That's because the designers don't know their own game.

No, they just don't want to give Monks easy access to that particular toy. It wouldn't be the first time, it won't necessarily be the last.

Fighter>Brawler (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/archetypes/paizo---fighter-archetypes/brawler) archetype gets +1 to-hit +3 damage at level 3. Only +1 each every 4 levels after that though.

Dragon Ferocity (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/dragon-ferocity-combat) (2nd Dragon Style feat), gives +1/2 Str to Unarmed (and even withOUT Master of Many styles it's VERY easy to qualify for).

As you said, Size increases can help.
Living Monolith (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/i-m/living-monolith) is my go-to for self-Enlarge (if it's allowed, has restrictive flavor). 3/day, Swift Action, Self Enlarge Person, 6 minute duration all from ONE level of the class.

Strong Jaw (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/s/strong-jaw) (Druid 4/Ranger 3) increases a Natural Attack's damage by TWO size categories. Stack with Enlarge Person for even more fun.
Sadly, you either need to invest in UMD, or have someone else cast it for you (or multi-class, or.....)

That is a decent Prc, Living Monolith. Very nice.

Second Level Spell:
Masterwork Transformation (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/m/masterwork-transformation) (bard 2, cleric/oracle 2, druid 2, sorcerer/wizard 2, witch 2)

Could be a way to get your fists into the Masterworked state. (Yes only one [Arms, Legs, Head], else you have to cast it 3 times as Unarmed Strikes consist out of 3 different types, i.e. your flurry by RAW can't be made soley with fists)

I wrote Could because it is up to your DM that fists(/legs/heads) have a Masterworked form or not. Once you have it enchant your Fists/Legs/Head directly. But not if you have +fire dmg on fists and +ice dmg on head and legs then your flurry would deal fire and ice dmg.

Yeah, my group has already covered that particular hurdle.
Wounding (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/magic-weapons#TOC-Wounding) Rope Gauntlets (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/weapons/weapon-descriptions/rope-gauntlet) and might add Speed (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/magic-weapons#TOC-Speed) or some other enchantment as time goes on.

Rope Gauntlets wouldn't affect an Unarmed Strike in such a way as to lower it's damage. We also took the "and your attacks deal normal damage" to mean as "your normal damage".
