My group is playing a new campaign in two weeks, and I had a particular idea in mind for a character. She's going to be a bit of an overzealous cleric of some god she never elaborates on, and I'd like some lines I could throw out every once in a while for her. Here are some examples of the kind of thing she'd say, and about the length I'd like.
"Unworthy of consecration."
"They say only the good die young. Obviously, you are one of the exceptions."
"We see clearly the error of your ways. It does not matter that you choose not to."
"Fall to your knees and welcome our embrace."
"It will take more than steel alone to purge this world of evil."
"Your superstitions and mumblings are useless chaff before my righteousness."
"Skin is the prison of the blessed and the stronghold of the heretic."
“In life, they were a motley crew: farmers, lords, cutpurses, priests. In death, they are united in singular, benevolent purpose.”
"Scholars seek to understand the way the world is. I wish to shape the world into what it should be."
"No one chooses to be stitched together into a *Insert creature here*. If it could speak, it would beg for its own destruction."
"As long as we can utter a prayer or lift a weapon, we have the power to fight back."
“The shield of unimpeachable purity is as strong as any wrought on the anvil.”
"The time for grief is over. The time for retribution has begun."
"To show geists pity is to prolong their agonies. Whether they know it or not, they seek the Blessed Sleep, and we are to give it to them."
I'd like most of her dialogue to be about how she wants there to be Unification.
And no, "Resistance if futile, you will be assimilated" Or anything like that is not acceptable. :smalltongue:
