Can a Shadowdancer teleport using his own shadow? Just a random idea that came to mind, maybe i'm being a n00b, but whatever.

If I remember correctly, it specifically says they can't.

I know Hide in Plain Sight specifies that you can't use your own shadow, so I'd assume not. Plus, it really don't make sense, you can't jump into your own shadow, because your shadow would be moving in the process.

I'm pretty sure that you can't. In one of my games a character tried to shadow jump into someone elses shadow, it was a nice idea, so I let them get away with it that once, saying that I wouldn't let it work after that, as it would be a bit of a problem.

There's no rule against it. A lot of DMs would frown on it. Others would find it \m/ AWESOME \m/ ... it's best to ask ahead of time.

Of course not.

If there's a light shining directly on you, you are not in shadow. And if there isn't, then you're not casting a shadow.
