If you ready an action to attack someone when they move past you, do you also get an AoO if that move provokes one?

So, can you attack someone twice in such a situation?

Yes.

An attack of opportunity is officially "no action" (see page 8 of Rules Compendium). It doesn't have any impact on readied actions. Treat them separately.

Alright then. It just seemed odd that you could swing twice in such a situation.

Thank ya kindly.

To better visualize it for you:

You readied an action if someone wants to go past you.
He starts his move, you attack.
He still runs trough your threatened area where he provokes an AoO.
